Dr. James Cook

James Cook, After completing his undergraduate in Classics at Oxford University in 2010, James stayed on to take a Masters and Doctorate in Ancient History. His research area was in the works of the late fourth-century preacher John Chrysostom, exploring the extent to which his sermons can be used as sources for popular Christianity. He came to faith as an undergraduate, and he is now exploring the possibility of going into full-time ordained ministry within the Church of England. He is currently with us at Central for six months as a ministry intern.
