Administrator, Resound Project

Reports to: Chris Hildebrand, Central's Executive Pastor and Resound's Executive Director

Founded in 2021 at Central Presbyterian Church, Resound Project seeks to strengthen new and existing churches in light of the changing cultural context so that the gospel of Jesus Christ might resound to the next generation. By supporting pastors, equipping churches, and engaging the culture, Resound Project intends to serve the broader church with the hope that the gospel can and does renew all things. Resound is seeking an Administrator who has a passion for serving the church and advancing the mission of Resound. The ideal candidate has administrative gifts and experience and is energized by the prospect of working within a new, mission-driven, and entrepreneurial organization in the heart of New York City. This newly-created position will play an integral role on Resound’s growing staff and work closely with the Executive Director and Program Director on both the daily operations and larger projects. This position is a Monday-Friday role with an option to work remotely one day per week.

Main Responsibilities

Administration

  • Serve as the liaison and primary point of contact for Resound’s Emerging Leaders Program, a leadership development program for those aspiring to work in ministry
  • Coordinate travel arrangements for the program’s candidates
  • Provide onboarding support for incoming interns and residents
  • Manage Resound’s payroll and master calendar
  • Liaison with Central Church’s Operations Manager to ensure alignment with various calendars and office spaces
  • Oversee the distribution of materials for Resound’s Ministry Cohorts, small groups of pastors and ministry leaders
  • Attend board meetings and record minutes

Communications & Database Management

  • Coordinate with the communications team to maintain Resound’s website and library of resources
  • Maintain the donor database and record outreach and communications

Coordination & Event Planning

  • Plan and coordinate Resound’s annual gathering 
  • Provide necessary support for Resound’s fundraising events

Qualifications

  • 5+ years administrative experience required
  • Professional demeanor and demonstrated Christian character and maturity
  • High attention to detail and ability to anticipate problems
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills
  • Great multitasker and resourceful problem solver
  • Able to handle sensitive and confidential information 
  • Flexible and willing to do any and all tasks, great or small, with joy
  • Experience working with the Google and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with Webflow preferred
