We are in many ways entering into new terrain in the Western world. In the not so distant past, there might have been a social benefit connected to being a Christian, because Christianity was widely perceived as a social good and a benefit to society. However, as the perceptions of those around us begin to change, we increasingly may experience something of a social cost for being a Christian. So given the social risks and costs, is it worth it?
