“One of the strange parts about being a young adult in NYC is that, other than maybe a few of your bosses, you often don’t naturally interact with people from other age groups. I love that on any given Sunday at Central, I can see three generations of a family sitting in a pew together. It’s what I grew up seeing with my family and my friends’ families at church in the South. Over the past couple years, I have become friends with men a generation above me in my Bible study who have provided amazing advice and support, both in good times and hard times. I have also volunteered in the Children’s Ministry in an attempt to pay that idea forward. I think it’s beautiful to come into church and worship our God together with friends and mentors of all ages. It’s a small (albeit different) picture of the diversity and mutual love that’s characteristic of heaven.”

_In 2 Corinthians 8, as Paul speaks on generosity, he interestingly never uses the word "money"; instead, he speaks of "grace." He calls the Corinthians — and by extension, us — to excel in this act of grace. As 2025 comes to a close, consider how you might contribute to stories of grace at Central._
